Transferring stuck ERC20 Tokens from IDEX?

Question is closed
Originally I purchased 45,000 ERC20 Tokens on EtherDelta and then transferred them to IDEX on 01-27-18. There appears to be no market on IDEX so I am trying to transfer them out. They are in "My IDEX Balance" and I try to withdraw them to "My Wallet Balance", but get an error message "Minimum withdrawal of 0.04 ETH required (met 54.26 percent of minimum). Please enter a higher amount." They seem stuck in IDEX. Here is the etherscan https://etherscan.io/tokenholdings?a=0x631782d2ffebe7611b385ddfbc10ae8d7554672f it does not show the quantity there and if you notice it says ERC20 (MCUX). Why is MCUX there ?

Would they qualify as old or new tokens ? From what i understand (if old tokens) 45,000 is 1:4000 which would be equivalent to 11.25 New Tokens. If they are 45,000 new tokens I'm in the money....

Here is my etherdelta where i transferred to IDEX https://ethplorer.io/tx/0xacd7515919e62258be6474f9991bbb09c62fcaec196f9cd4ac04c26006312420 You can see it says 45,000.00 ERC $ 29,256.66(21,487.48%). I think I may have the new tokens if that's the correct value.

Make sure you have enough ETH on your wallet to cover transaction fee / transfer fee. The recommended gas fee as of writing is 82 gwei, because of ETH's network congestion.
    Ready?
    Go to IDEX.
Go to Balances, on the top right of the platform.
    Click on Full Balances.
Scroll down or up to locate the token you want to transfer.
Move your mouse to the far right of the screen, on the line your token is at, you will see: Deposit, Withdraw, Transfer.
Click withdraw if you have deposited it earlier to IDEX's contract address, otherwise click transfer if you still have the token on your wallet. Now a pop window will appear, enter the address you want to transfer your tokens to. If it is the same address you used when depositing to IDEX, you don't have to transfer, just click withdraw and it will send the token to its initial depositor ( the address which deposited the token to IDEX). By default IDEX will recommend a gas fee, but shows you an option to set gas fee. The recommended gas fee on IDEX is not different from what you will see at https://ethgasstation.info, so just leave it at IDEX's recommended gas fee for quicker confirmation on the ETH network.

It won't allow me to move it from My IDEX Balance to My Wallet Balance. I get an error message "Minimum withdrawal of 0.04 ETH required (met 54.26 percent of minimum). Please enter a higher amount." What is the value of my 45000 ERC coins ?

      Value 45,000.00
      $ 77,437.80 (57,038.68%)

      is that correct ??

      On IDEX it says,

Why is there a 0.04 ETH minimum withdrawal amount for all tokens?

Due to gas fees and how gas costs are applied to withdraws there is a 0.04 ETH minimum withdrawal for any given token. If you have less than 0.04 ETH deposited for a given token, please deposit more until you have at least 0.04 ETH equivalent and then withdraw the full amount.

So it looks like in order for me to withdraw I have to put approximately 40000 more in.

So i need to know the value of my 45,000 tokens to figure out what i'm going to do. Are they worth $77k like it says here: https://ethplorer.io/tx/0xacd7515919e62258be6474f9991bbb09c62fcaec196f9cd4ac04c26006312420

This is the address ( your address 0x86D3cCB700a9d71b4B6F4B5245d7A0B2B4d82A98 ) that deposited / transferred the token to IDEX. Please confirm if I'm right?
    • [sivexcom] 7 July 2018, 17:32
If this is true, that this is your address ( 0x86D3cCB700a9d71b4B6F4B5245d7A0B2B4d82A98 ), then you need more ETH on you wallet in order to be able to complete your transaction on IDEX. As you can see the value of ETH on your wallet address is less than 1 dollar. = Balance: 0.000556364690190603 Ether. Ether Value: $0.26. With this value you can't complete your order, because ETH gas fee currently is roughly 1.5 dollars 83 gwei. 63 gwei as of writing

no, my IDEX account is 0x631782d2fFEbe7611B385DdFBC10aE8d7554672f

are my tokens worth $77,000 ? Please answer my question.
    • [seth] 8 July 2018, 02:09
this was the last transaction in IDEX https://ethplorer.io/tx/0x3af04455b18893d137ab4fa47809d1e26426c76fc157daeb2d114a4097ead0f4
    • [seth] 8 July 2018, 02:11
and this was the transaction before that... from etherdelta to idex https://ethplorer.io/tx/0xfb4ec279c25589f6116412ae27a86daced28d16dfd426adfc779f7613b17b0fe

"If you have less than 0.04 ETH deposited for a given token, please deposit more until you have at least 0.04 ETH equivalent and then withdraw the full amount."

The problem is idex is not valuing these tokens more than .04 ETH and why i can't withdrawal to my IDEX wallet
    • [sivexcom] 8 July 2018, 21:20
Please buy enough ETH. Make sure you have enough ETH on you wallet address ( 0x86D3cCB700a9d71b4B6F4B5245d7A0B2B4d82A98 ) before you make any transfer / transactions.
It doesn't matter how much is the value of tokens you have on that address. Even if it's worth $1,000,000. million dollars in value, if you don't have enough ETH to cover ETH's network gas fee you can't transfer or trade the tokens you have. Except you sell the wallet address with its private key, which no body in the crypto world will buy, even when you sell it for $100.

As for the value of your ERC tokens. The current value $77k of the token is misleading. So you have to wait until the network settles, and exchanges index the proper price and distinguish between the old ERC token ( which you hold 45,000 of it ) and the new ERC20 token which I guess you don't hold any. But you can swap your 45,000 ERC tokens to the new ERC20 token at 45,000/4000 = 11.25 ERC20.
If you look closely enough you would see or notice that IDEX has disabled deposit options for these tokens, until the dust settles.
    • [sivexcom] 8 July 2018, 21:34
However, you must have enough ETH to cover gas fee, and you must login to IDEX with the wallet that deposited the token in order to get back your token. if 0x631782d2fFEbe7611B385DdFBC10aE8d7554672f, was the wallet that initiated the transfer to IDEX's contract, you must use that same wallet to get back the tokens.

No. Gas fee is charged in ETH. That means you don't need to deposit any more coin.
    • [sivexcom] 8 July 2018, 22:50
OK..! I get you. IDEX instituted a minimum withdrawal of all token to the value of 0.04ETH. So hence your ERC tokens price is incorrect or not yet determined you have to wait till the prices for new ERC20 and old ERC is indexed.
    • [seth] 8 July 2018, 22:55
      Ok. Thanks!
    • [sivexcom] 8 July 2018, 23:23
Better still, because IDEX is a DEX ( decentralized exchange ), you can interact with their smart contract directly using https://www.myetherwallet.com/#contracts. It's an emergency feature offered free of charge by MEW incase any smart contract decentralized exchange goes offline or shuts down, traders can get back their tokens.
I posted a video on my facebook page when EtherDelta was hijacked, on how to interact with a smart contract and retrieve your tokens on. The method works for any DEX. The video is here: https://web.facebook.com/cryptodigit/videos/579850845695069/
